I have just completed my first urine drug screen with Tpapn. What does option 2 mean on the chain of custody form? Thanks for any all help. This is all new to me and it scares me to death. I was reported to Tpapn for being intoxicated and hospitalized while on vacation.:(

I began reading this website while taking my pre-reqs.

I have been in a monitoring program for over a year.

Hi Vern, and welcome. there are quite a few good hearted well intentioned recovering nurse's on this site. then well, there are others! Like they say in AA, take what ya need and leave the rest. Applies here too. Keep posting tho Peace

Thanks! I appreciate your welcoming words.

So she has questions. Get over it. Leave her alone. If she's faking and gets caught that's her business and she will face the consequences. Why is everyone so hard on everyone else? Can't we all just get along?!

I agree with wenman. This is supposed to be a support forum. I think the people who jump all over others have forgotten how terrifying it is to be monitored (in the beginning, before you get used to the routine).

Also, certain 12-step groups can foster an excessive "tough love" attitude toward the newly sober and I have noticed some of the same kind of thing in the more confrontational posts.

I believe the Big Book (or the 12 by 12, for the AA'ers) encourages "restraint of tongue and pen." That is, think a minute before you confront someone here. We are all facing private difficulties and deserve to be treated with kindness.

That said, if someone is obviously BSing us, that needs to be addressed, but the question posed by hulanana hardly qualifies, in my opinion.

Thanks for reading,

Catmom :paw:

It does seem that option 3 has ETOH just to let whoever would like to know.
