Towson Spring 2018 Nursing Application

Hi guys!!! I am applying to the spring 2018 Nursing program at Towson. I Just wanted to start up a place for others to talk about their TEAS scores or anything really.

Just to get the ball rolling, these are my stats:

GPA: 3.85

Science GPA: 3.8

TEAS: 82

I am retaking my TEAS in two days so hopefully I will do at least 2% better.

ugh the wait is getting too long. I'm getting nervous.

The decisions are on track to be released by the end of the month! We just need to hold out for 2(ish) more weeks! I meant to post this yesterday, but then life happened and I was sidretracked. We've got this, you guys. I have to wait till end of November-early December for my other school decisions! Towson is ON IT for timing.

Is there a fee to apply here?

Yes. You will find that any 4 year college requires a fee. You have to pay to apply to the University then pay the separate application fee for the Nursing Program

Hey! I also applied. GPA:3.9 Science GPA:4.0 TEAS: 94. Ive been checking my mailbox like 2x a day for this letter! This time last year (judging from reading past forums) they already had answers out. But I applied to UMSON too and I know I wont be hearing from them for at least another month.

Question: why did yall choose to apply to Towson for nursing school? if you applied elsewhere, where? and if you get accepted to more than 1 place where would you pick and why?

Im being really optimistic and worrying abt the choice I'll have to make if i get accepted to both umson and towson...

You'll most definitely get into your programs. Your GPA and TEAS score are INSANE! Nice job! I applied to Towson because I already attend Towson. I didn't apply anywhere else though (which makes me very nervous). Good luck! I hope we hear from TU soon!

These same questions have been swirling in my head for months. I've applied to UMSON as well! Good luck! Hopefully, we will hear back this week!

I did talk to Brooke Necker, and she said they were "on track" to have answers back by the end of the month. Just a few more days, y'all

I talked to Brook Necker as well and she said that no letters have been sent out yet but they will be by the end of the month!

Cool! So maybe we'll end up in school together! Seriously, what are you gonna do if you get into both UMSON and TU? UMSON requires less Gen Ed courses...that may be my decision point :-/
