Hi guys!!! I am applying to the spring 2018 Nursing program at Towson. I Just wanted to start up a place for others to talk about their TEAS scores or anything really.

Just to get the ball rolling, these are my stats:

GPA: 3.85

Science GPA: 3.8

TEAS: 82

I am retaking my TEAS in two days so hopefully I will do at least 2% better.

I got an email a few weeks ago stating I was missing two pieces of info (that I was still waiting on), and nothing since. I called last week to make sure they received everything after I had sent the last of it, but she said they would email after Ms. Necker got through the huge stack on her desk --to be sure-- next week. I may call today or tomorrow to verify since I haven't heard anything.

I just looked... The last email from them was August 3rd. It was the email that showed what else I needed to complete my application. It's all in now, but I haven't heard anything from them. I didn't get a chance to call before they closed today like I had hoped. I will do so tomorrow for an update.

Anyone else hear anything?

My Teas score is not good. I scored 73.3% overall.

My overall GPA:3.89

Science GPA: 4.0

That's why, I am really worried/nervous about my application. I couldn't get a chance to retake the TEAS. I was already so late.

Your GPA is fantastic. TEAS still isn't bad. I would say you're a great candidate for the program. I was thinking of retaking my TEAS, but I went with it. If for some reason I don't get in on the first round (I REALLY hope I do...), I'll retake my TEAS, and my GPA should get a little better since I have a class left that I'm in now. Anyhow, good luck. I'll update if I hear anything. I hope everyone else does too!

I called Towson this morning and spoke to someone in the nursing department. She said not to worry, and emails about completed applications will go out next week. She said if if there is something missing somehow, they will allow a little time to get it in for your application. We should be hearing from them by next Friday.

Yeah I got an email saying my application was complete about a week after I gave it to the ladies in that office. I haven't heard anything since then

Nope! I hear they send out acceptance and rejection letters towards the end of October. So, unfortunately we have a lil while to go! :)

Hi all, I applied too for the accelerated route and 2 days ago I got the email saying that my application was complete and ready to be reviewed by the committee. Good luck to all!!!

I received the email of completed Nursing application a couple weeks back. I got a letter in the mail for acceptance into Towson University, so just one step closer, if accepted into the nursing program!

Anyone else?
