Has anyone yet received this amount of money? Phoned payroll about it today and was told it was up to our managers to ask pay department about it. Our manager had no idea she had to ask for it.
Has anyone received it in their pay?

What's this about?
All nurses paying NMC registration fee are going to be given £38 towards the fee as the fee went up by quite a bit.
Look up DOH forward publications about it. I only know about it because two of my family work in a NHS hospital in payroll and they told me. Have a feeling hospitals won't be shouting out loud about it though.
Will give my payroll dept another phonecall next week (they just love me)!!!!
I wonder if nightmaren and myself know nothing because the Welsh assembly government and Scottish parliament haven't taken the same stance as the DOH

it was one of the concessions negotiated for accepting the staged pay award ... there is also a commitment to a further contribution to training costs for none registered staff over and above that in the standard funding settlement...
As I work in the private sector there's very little chance of me getting this!!

Yes we have had this payment - at first it caused some confusion as we weren't sure if it was a credit or deduction!
It makes me laugh the way other depts say "your manager should know" - they don't - because nobody tells them either! In fact the I often want to change the title "ward manager" to "person to blame when things go wrong" - sorry - slightly off subject but something that infuriates me on a daily basis.
