Okay, so I am all set up to take the teas next month. Today is the first day I have had to really start studying. I pull out all the practice tests I printed off the net, got my prep book next to me, and...I am, so frickin' lost on where I need to start. I thought I would start in sciene with the prep book. Okay, so I read the section and answer the questions, but how am I supposed to remember this stuff for a month? And then, I had no idea what to do about math. I can rock me some basic math, but algebra is just another word for the devil. The printed out practice tests I tried to do...well, tha twas just a barrel of laughs. I attempted the first 5 problems and got 1 right.
Can anyone share their tips on HOW to study for this test. Tips, techniques, any help. Here I am all excited about going to nursing school and begining my dream career, and it hits me: You can't even start pre req's till you pass THIS test! I can already feel the ulcer starting!
Please, I am desperate and terrified all of a sudden. Any help will be SO very much appreciated!!!

I just got done taking the practice test on the ati site. My cummulative score was like a 63%. I got a score a few points higher than I needed on the reading, but was really surprised to find that I have some work to do on the english part. I knew I wouldn't pass the math, but I did better than I thought I would, I got a score of 70, but need a 75. And then on science, I need a score of 56, but I got 44%. All in all, there were a lot of science questions I have yet to tackle. And as far as math oges, I really just need to work on my fractions.
Gonna take the second practive assessment in two weeks. See where I am then, so I still have alittle time before taking the teas for real.
