Hello fellow nursing students, I am taking my nclex wednsday june 18 and feel like rescheduling it. I have comoleted the kaplan course and have done 82 percent of the q bank questions and now have a 55 percent. My scores are ranging from mid 50s-high 60s. I made a 58 on trainer 7 and a 63 on my diagnostic test before the course. The decision tree is confusing me as my anxiety builds. I am doing 100 questions a day and reading rationales, but feel sick about wednsday. I feel like I am doing horrible on kaplan q bank. HELLLPPPPPP!!!!!!
I took Kaplan made some 40's but most mid to upper 50's. Could never hit there magical 65% which equal out to like a 99.7% pass on NCLEX. Best advice I can give is to understand how they are answering the questions. I hated the decision tree didn't use it. I just read the rationales and the more questions I did the better I got. I took boards on June 6th had 146 questions and passed. The question are not that hard, it just a matter of thinking through them. The SATA are straight forward think my first one what are signs of shock, pretty straight forward I thought. It's nothing to take lighting but it's not impossible either. Just go in there tomorrow take a deep breath, take your time, and READ the questions no need to rush!!!!! It took me 2.5 hrs to answer those questions and all through school I was one of the first to finish. But I took me time that day. I would rather take NCLEX than some of those test I had in nursing school any day, lol!!!! Good Luck, I believe in ya!!!
