I interviewed for PCU. No call today but status is still in process. Anyone interview from PCU get a call yet?

From what I’m hearing. Offers were given to ICU departments and PCU. Med surg and ED is next. That’s also the order they interviewed in.

For PCU, I may be wrong. That’s just what I heard from friends who applied to that unit. A classmate got ICU which there was only four spots available

Has anyone heard back from ED? Also... has anyone’s status changed on their Jobvite profile?

Mine still says in process (ortho/bari). I haven’t gotten the official call yet. For ED, Med-surg, and oncology, it says closed ?

What exactly does closed mean? That you are no longer considered?

I have no idea. That’s what I’m seeing on my jobvite based off of all the applications I submitted in late November.

Is that including the one you received a job offer from, without the official call?

No, my job offer was from 61700 according to jobvite. Which is a bit confusing considering Med-surg, ortho, and bari are considered as one department at Torrance. My offer was for 6E, an orthopedic floor. For reference:

-61700 is listed as bariatrics

- 61707 Med-surg

- 61704 oncology

- 70100 ED

On my jobvite, it shows Med-surg, oncology, and ED as closed

My status for 61706 is still in process and that’s the one I interviewed for, for medsurg/ortho/bari. I asked the director during my interview what unit I was interviewing for because it was all confusing in regards to the app numbers. He said it’s for wherever they see you fit: medsurg/ortho/bari. Just not oncology because they have their own hiring process.
