Guys! It’s still happening! I received a call at approximately 9:05 this morning for an interview with the med-surg/ orthopedics/ bariatrics unit! I scheduled for tomorrow at 1 PM!!

I had an interview with medsurg yesterday after receiving a call that morning. I wonder how much longer they will be interviewing for that unit?? We should hear back by Friday if not for sure next week!

I know of a few people who got offers for oncology already. I think they are done hiring for that unit!

Yes. There is a med math assessment. Super easy and basic. Have to score 85%!

Does anyone know how many people get second interviews?? I heard that if you got a second interview you are likely to get the position!

Any advice for the second interview for people that already got one? I am interviewing for ED

I agree, I think if you got a second interview, you got it! However, my friends for oncology got offers after first interview so I think it all just depends.

I received a call at 4 PM today from one of the med-surg/ ortho managers with a job offer on 6E/ day shifts! She said I still had to wait for the official call from HR next week and that they’re starting on their calls so the applicants aren’t a nervous wreck over the weekend ?

So, take your phones off silent and prepare for calls!

Congrats! And thank you! The questions were pretty standard: Tell us about yourself; Why Torrance Memorial? Ever been given a verbal warning, written up, or fired? What do you consider as your best quality? Tell us about a time you overcame a difficult personal or clinical situation. There was also a prioritization question. Good luck!
