I am currently a student in the middle of a nutrition major, but I am starting to become interested in Nursing. I do not want to waste my time getting a nutrition degree but also don't want to waste my time going into Nursing and finding out that I do not enjoy it. I don't know what the better route would be and I need to decide fast. I don't really believe in modern medicine which is a problem in both majors, but nursing has more opportunities and you are able to get a job anywhere. It's hard to decide when both are in demand. I heard that being a RD is less stressful than becoming a nurse but also gets paid less than a nurse. What should I do and what would be better?

Ask around with nutritionists as well. I looked at doing my RD after nursing school, but the RDs I spoke with all said that internships (required for licensure) are increasingly difficult to come by. They also said that the market is shrinking, which is sad.
I'm looking at holistic nutrition at this point.
As far as the notion of a guaranteed job, I can tell you are new to the site. The market is EXTREMELY difficult for nurses right now, especially new grads. For example, in CA, the unemployment rate for new grads in their first year after licensure is 47%, which means it's even higher in some parts of the state (like the major cities). Take some time to explore the "First Year After Licensure" forum (under the Careers tab). You'll get a sense of what I mean. People are STRUGGLING to find ANYTHING, and taking what they can get.
If you don't believe in modern medicine, you're right, that's a problem in both areas. You might want to explore other options, or you're going to find yourself studying something and in a career doing something that goes against your beliefs.
You need to do a lot more research before you pursue nursing, should you choose to do so. Job security and something "you can do anywhere" are not good reasons to enter nursing in this market.

Good day, nnorton716:
Try job shadowing each to see if that helps.
Thank you.
