Is there a list somewhere that has the Top 10 meds used in the ER?
I wanted to have a list so that I would know names, side effects, uses, etc.

1. Tylenol
2. Gravol (Canadian anti-emetic/anti-nauseant)
3. Ancef
4. Dopamine
5. Ceftriaxone
6. Fentanyl
7. Versed
8. Morphine
9. Ativan
10. Aspirin

Epi, yes of course. Epi one of the 'top' 10 meds used in the ER? No.

Here we go other than the main ACLS drugs: Epinephrine, and Atropine
2. Ibuprofen
3. Dilaudid
4. Ativan
5. Cardizem
6. Versed
7. Morphine
8. Levaquin
9. Rocephin
hmmmm... a few more than 10 maybe
11. Nitroglycerin
12. Heparin
13. Zofran
14. Benadryl
15. Solumedrol

I don't work the ER, but I'd guess Lasix would be in the top 10.
