Took the TEAS today

and it wasn't too bad. The science portion was hell for me, because I took only life science in high school, and know nothing about chemistry or anything else. My school requires a total score of 67% and I scored a 81.4%. I can re-take every 3 months and they will always take the highest score. I'm glad that I know what to expect now if I do re-take. Everyone in the room was so nervous! One girl was on the floor meditating before the test began, another clutching her hands together, looking up, and mouthing words... assuming she was praying... I just wanted to tell everyone to relax!! LOL I got funny looks when I finished in 50 minutes. SO glad it's over.

Congratulation. I am taking the test in two days. I was told two days ago I was accepted into the LVN to RN program and that I need to come in right away to take the test. I have had the study guide (version 3) for a little over a month and have not really looked at it. I was expecting to take the test in the May or June. I do not have any chemistry background and my life and physical science classes were a long time ago. I hope I will do well. Do you get the results of the test right away?

Congratulations on getting accepted, that's so exciting!! I think that with some cramming you'll be ok... focus on the things you're not comfortable with. Yes, you get your grade right away if your school uses the computer testing. Good luck!!

I have a question. How many versions of Teas are there? I hear different stories.. could someone clarify me on this one.

Well I took the test Sat (rochester, ny) and got my results today. It's on a first come first serve basis. The BOCES program has been testing since Jan and so far they have tested 150 ppl and only 40 passed before my class. I'm hoping that I get the acceptance letter to pursue my career. I didnt score as well as I wanted to but I scored enough to pass. Being that not too many ppl passed and it is a first come first serve that I'll have a chance......I really really hope I get in.

I took the test today. I found it easier than expected. I used Study Guide Version 3. The test indicated version 4. I feel that the ver. 3 study guide is good enough for review. The purpose of the study guide is to help refresh your memory and give you practice. I had more anxiety reviewing for the test than the actual test. I am glad it is over.

3rd semester RN program here I come!
