Hello, I am going back to school after being out of school for 20 year, i m married and have 3 kids. I just took the teas this past weekend and did not think I would pass as really did not study as much as I wanted to. I really wanted to see what it was like and what I need to really study for next time. I just get worried that this is going to be my major roadblock to getting into nursing school. I am not the best test taker so that does not help. I was happy has I passed the science part. I am still not sure the reason for this test as it seems like a lot of stuff a person will not need. And positive feedback would be greatly appreciated. I keep telling myself I can do this.
Thanks
Kristen
Hey I took the teas last year ones and I scored really poor. I was so mad at my self because most of the questions were basic things that I should know except science. How much were you studying prior to taking it both times. You don't have to give up on becoming a nurse you just have to want it really badly which means you have to put in a lot more hours into studying. I am planning on taking it again in may and I study atleast 4 hrs a day. I'm also working with a tutor once a week. Some people can take it once and pass easily but some people like me needs to put in a lot of time studying
Like two hour a day . I cannot apply to the school am currently attending but am looking for alternative school that require teas v , and am afraid that won't get into their school even if pass the teas v with GPA of 3.27 and science GPA of 3.12 , what school are u applying to ? Like Texas women , shu, utmb
Hello everyone, I am kelly. I am planning to apply to TWU for the spring 2016, but I do not know how to go about it. Please do I need to be accepted as a student to take the TEAS V test, and where can I take the test, and how much does it cost. I had applied at El Centro for the fall 2015 and I got denied because of the point system. right now I have a 3.93 gpa not including the 4 prereqs I will have by the end of may 2015. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
