Took my NET at Toledo School of Practical Nursing today....

Published

So I took the test this morning.. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Math is not my strong suit and I think I actually did OK. Does anyone know how long it takes to find out if you passed or not? Any information on this school is appreciated! Thank you...:wink2:

I took the NET and about a week and a half later received a letter stating I in fact did pass!! Math is also my weakness but luckily I didn't find it all that bad!!! Best of luck to you :)

I am scheduled to take the same exam at TSPN on May 1st.

Since you felt comfortable taking it could you tell us what your previous math background is?

Also what to study (basic math, ratio's, precents, pre-algebra, algebra). Also let us know what your entry date is after you fill out the application. Oh, congrats on passing the test. Your on your way!:nurse:

Thanks in advance

My math background is this...throughout high school I had this teacher (Sophomore and Junior year which eventually did get fired) who taught us nothing! and of course being in highschool a free period to watch tv, talk with friends and watch movies sounds great!!! Until senior year came along Algebra and equations OMG I thought for sure I would fail however I did pass with a low score. I took a college Algebra course (2 times) first I got a C+ second time B+ and it truly helped me with the NET you will want to study exactly what you stated above basic addition subtraction mulitiplication decimals ratio percents and algebra. I went to this website and printed out and practiced the problems -http://www.testprepreview.com/nursing_practice.htm. This will be helpful review it over and over. Believe me if I can pass it so can you!!!!! Actually its kind of crazy but I received a letter 3 weeks after my interview stating I was put on a waiting list..so I called the school to ask them a question about the letter and she asked me my name and apologized and said that was an error I actually did however get accepted!! What are the odds!? That happened last week so now I am still waiting for my official acceptance letter. I know it starts in Sept but not sure of the exact date! WHAT A NERVE WRACKING PROCESS lolll !!!!!!! Please keep me updated I would love to hear how you make out and best of luck you will do just fine !!! :)

Thanks for the congrats. I am very excited about attending. I've been

informed that I would most likely be in the January 2010 class or March 2010

if I turn in the packet in a timely fashion. I just recieved a phone call today

that I can pick up my physical tomorrow. Only thing is one of my titers was

low and I may have to have a booster shot. Other than that I need to have

my FBI background check done then I can turn in the application packet.

Also just a quick question, are any of you attending Toledo School of Practical Nursing

due to passing the NET already. I would love to talk to you and also see if anyone on the

boards are set for a Sept 09, January 10, or March 10 start date.

Nursing entrance test. It is the test required by most nursing that you have to pass to be considered. Some schools have other test called the hesi and the other I forgot, I think its the teas

The NET is the Nurse Enterance Test. For some schools it is required

that you pass the net for admission to a nursing program.
