hello to all,
Today I took my NCLEX. I knew it would be challenging however I happened to rcve many more SATA type questions than I had anticipated. Don't know what that means, yet I must admit that when I look back I did everything possible to pass this exam. I did 100% of Kaplan program questions, Saunders CD and book, Lippincott, exam cram, and nclex 3500. I made flash cards for all of the labs, signs & symptoms of diseases, positions. For airborne, droplet & contact precautions I used pneumonics. I feel kind of bad b/c I don't beleive I passed as a result of the huge amount of SATA questions. This is my advice: Give it your all, dedicate yourself, stay focused and positive and make sure you are comfortable with SATA type quest! Don't listen to any negativity!! Although I am feeling blue I realize that I have been studying and practicing questions since July 6 so I know I gave it my best!! If in fact I did not pass I realize that it was the SATA questionsand this is an area I must tackle! I will get back on the horse and refocus if need be! I guess I just needed to get this off my chest. remember all of our testing expereinces are so individual so don't focus on how your buddies did just focus on how you are going to do!
feeling melancholly,
TC:cry:

My last question for the nclex-pn was med. What does that mean?

Doesn't mean anything. Hang in there and try to relax whilst you are waiting for your results. Good luck
