Hi, everyone, I took boards today, and I only got one new format question, and it was right at the beginning, and I know I got it wrong. Almost all the questions I got were prioritizing, and I can't tell if they were hard or not. Some seemed easy. I got 75 questions. I just want to start studying again because I know I failed. Has anyone out there who passed gotten only 1 or zero "new" questions?? Please give me some advice!

I took the NCLEX PN test in November and only got two questions in the alternate format. The questions were mark all answers that apply. I passed in the minimum number of questions, 85 and sweated it just like you are! The thing that got to me is I did not have EVEN ONE drug calculation problem; that seemed very odd to me. I have never heard of anyone getting a minimum number of questions and failing. You probably did great.
congrats on your success. I know it's meant to be hard, and I'm just torturing myself with looking up all the answers. Thank you for your encouragement!

I got 3 of those suckers when I took it. If this is any consolation to you: I had tons of prioritizing questions, and they kept getting more and more obscure. It cut off at 75 questions after about 1 hour of testing. I panicked, too. I thought maybe I had rushed too fast through the questions, etc. If the questions got harder and harder to answer as you went along, and it shut off at 75, it might be a good indicator that you passed. I don't know one person that thought they passed after taking the NCLEX. Chin up, and try to find something to occupy your mind until you get the results.
