I hope it's a good sign. It's weird though, 'cause the whole test I kept looking at the number of questions I'd answered and I knew that it would shut off at 75 for me. Most of my questions were priority, teaching, 6-7 SATA, 2 math and a lot of meds, have I mentioned before that I HATE meds, never have been very good at them and in no way could have prepared for these. I'm just hoping the rest of the test carried me through the meds. I was also lucky enough to have several questions in OB, which is where I work.
It's weird because I was never nervous about it, and I thought I'd be a nervous wreck. I was calm and relaxed the entire time and thought maybe it would hit me after the test, and it didn't. I feel like I passed, but I'm not sure how I did, if I did pass. I didn't walk out of there thinking I'd bombed it, but that could be because I know everyone feels that way after and then they usually pass. Luckily I'll find out tomorrow morning, although I've already been on the BON and looked to see if it's shown yet, lol.
So my advice for anyone studying is if you have a good understanding of how the body works, then just focus on practicing questions. If you still are not quite sure how all the systems work together, then get that down before you start working on the questions. When it's time to take the test go in knowing that you are going to pass, that this is just the final step to obtaining your RN. You've passed nursing school, you have the know how to pass this test, just remember what you've learned and trust in yourself.
Good luck everyone, it's really not as bad as you've heard...

Hey Keli-
I spoke with you in another thread a couple of days ago. I took NCLEX here in TX at 0800 and I have no idea how to feel about it. My screen shut off at question 75 and I got a load of patho questions. I was like "C'mon!!! I know how to save your life- who cares if I know what you look like when you have MS?!" I'm not cool with patho and every single question I got on patho I looked up when I got home and I got them wrong...there were about 7 of them....hopefully at least one of them was a pilot question! Ho-hum...I have to wait to find out and that's fine. I really don't know what to expect. They say on other threads that 85% of people who shut off at 75 wind up passing. However that 15% seems like SUCH a bigger number than 85% to me LOL.
I sent a prayer out for you as I approached my computer so I hope God answers both of our prayers!!!!!!!! :w00t:

This whole waiting game SUCKS. I am on pins and needles as I wait. I can't be happy until I see "active" next to my name on the BON website. I keep checking it, hoping something has changed.
I'm going to try and sleep so that when I wake up, it will show results! It should by tomorrow at 0600. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
