I just got finished taking the NCLEX and I am soo anxious. I had 75 questions with not kidding 27 'Select all that apply'!! No calculations, one ekg strip, lots of infection control. I left feeling pretty confident, and now after reading the boards, I here that may not be a good sign:mad: I took the Kaplan course and felt that the NCLEX questions were eaiser. On the Kaplan diagnostic test I scored a 69% and a 68% on the post test. Iam so nervous to find out my results!

I hear that SATA is a good sign. So for having 27 of them I think that sounds like you did well~ Keep you head up and let us know!~

Ewww I hate them! How did you keep track? My mind was in such a state I can't remember hardly anything. I also think it is a good sign and especially that you got the minimum number of questions. Fingers crossed.

I hate SATAs and select the correct steps questiosn -- they're evil! I seem to get all but one of 'em or switch the order or 2. I wonder if the computer realizes you're *close* when you answer it almost correctly?? Anyone have any thoughts about that? I have heard that SATAs are a good sign -- even if you get 1 SATA wrong it's better than a few simple (i.e. skills) questions wrong. I'm sure you passed!

I am on board with you about hating SATA's. i had 15 of them. I kept track by making a tally on my little writing board. I just wanted to know how often they tortured me.

SATA questions are only format style, they do not determine level of the question. So whether or not one got many or even none does not determine or even help in determining how one did on the exam.

Best of luck to all of you.

I took the NCLEX-RN two days ago and passed (!) with 75 questions, 30 of which were SATA (and I've always sucked at those). I went home and celebrated b/c I felt confident I had passed. Not b/c the test was easy (it wasn't, I had to make educated guesses a lot) but b/c I just felt pretty good about it.

So I'm sure you passed too :) :yeah: Let us know!
