ALOHA!! :) I am beyond excited right now!!
I took my NCLEX-RN this morning at 8 AM. My computer shut off at 95 questions. I thought it was a weird number! I was HYPERVENTILATING. I went and used the restroom and then after I checked my phone. My hands were shaking as I tried to re-register. And BAM!! The good pop up!! "Our records indicate...blah blah..another register can't be made at this time." HALLELUJAH!! I'll admit it. I started to dance, laugh, and cry. I seriously thought I failed!! It kept getting harder and harder but I must have been doing well! I am truly thankful to God and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Prayer works!! God will see you through anything! He saw me through today!
Since all of your stories and tips have been so helpful, I will come back and give you my advice:
-The week after graduation (May 3rd), I did the Kaplan Anywhere. KAPLAN WAS MY SAVING GRACE. It taught me how to analyze and answer questions. They were challenging and somewhat similar to the difficulty of NCLEX. The next 2 weeks I did all the Question Trainers, and QBANK. I did not score very high, so don't stress over scores! READ RATIONALES! The content videos for Kaplan are GOLD!
-I did Saunders questions from the CD. Great resource for SATA and other alternate format! I used the Saunders book for content review.
-I made flash cards for my lab values.
-I did questions everyday and read. Questions will help you with content review as well!!
IF I CAN DO IT YOU CAN TOO!!! HAVE FAITH!! PRAY!! BE CONFIDENT!! :) :)
you STILL sound exactly like me! Mine shut off at 90 questions! Thought that was odd number too. Got in car and checked, as I was shaking, and got the good pop up!!!!! yay for us! I knew we could do it.
