Content is content. I have the content book but never opened kaplan's. I got Saunders book for content and did 600 questions online. I also did Kaplan live review whic was strategies and lots of in class practice questions and going over rationale. I know ppl who did hurst review and LOVEF it for conter. strategies book is test taking strategies.

you STILL sound exactly like me! Mine shut off at 90 questions! Thought that was odd number too. Got in car and checked, as I was shaking, and got the good pop up!!!!! yay for us! I knew we could do it.

I think it sounds like good news for you!!!!! I wouldn't think quick results would be delayed b/c its computerized. I would think BON posting a liscense would be delayed a day or 2 b/c of holiday and them being closed monday... but who knows!

i don't know anyone personally who has ONLY used saunders. I do know some who have used it in conjuntion with ATI or Kaplan and those ppl were sucessful on the first try. I am using saudners in conjunction with kaplan. Saunders seems a lot easier. I score from 58-66 on kaplan and more like 70-80 on saunders.

our kaplan was paid for through school fees. Test Trainers are separate from QBank. We also have access to RN sample NCLEX test, Readiness test, diagnositic test, and nursing assessment tests to name a few. It sounds as though you may not be able to access them. If they were available to you test trainers would be spotted on the same page you see the button to click qbank. I went to kaplan live review (didn't think it was that great, but again it was free as in paid for through our school) and anyway the lady at live review said the 60s was the scores to aim for. ALL kaplan questions are above passing standards for nclex, so if you are answering 60% of the hardest nclex questions then you are liekly to pass. hope that helps.

that is ironic how similiar are circumstances are! I test at 2pm... you? Praying for our good pop ups! what state are you testing in?

that makes 3 of us!!! i am also testing on tuesday!!!! I've been prepping like crazy with kaplan and saunders and review that study guide from AN and feel good w my labs and prioritization. What states are you both testing in? GOOD LUCK. I can't wait for us all to post that we got the good PVT pop up on Tuesday night!!!! :)

There is a question similar to this for ATI predictor tests and passing nclex. what are yall's experiences with readiness test scores/predictor of passing nclex on 1st try versus actually passing nclex on 1st try? I scored 63 on kaplan readiness, which translated into a 97% chance of passing. I test on tuesday!

I think i have read some cases where the person DID pass, but to be honest, its not very often. fingers crossed.

I try to do 50-75 questions on work days (after a 12 hr shift) If I am off I do more like 150. This includes reviewing rationales afterwards.

I'm posting b/c I have LOVED reading everyone else's scores and test prep strategies and seeing their outcomes.... so here is my test prep/strategy and scores. I have almost completed Kaplan entirely. I will finish the last 400 qbank questions before testing. MY TT scores were:( I will add when I was doing these I was half rushing b/c of deadlines at school) 1 61 2 45 3 54 4 52 5 50 6 59 7 61 we also took kaplan tests: Nursing assessment test 74 Diagnostic 62 Readiness 63 RN priority 87 Since completing all that above for school, I have almost finished entire qbank with scores averaging 62 (true range 52-66, but mainly hoovering 58-62) I did 1/2 the lacharity book and scored 60-90s, and about 500 questions so far from Saunders, scoring b/t 60-70s ( will do about 300 more from saunders before nclex) My deficit is in physiological adaption- I feel prepared and don't really know how to prepare anymore. All-in-all by test date I will have done approx 3800 questions. I will update once I have tested & have my results.

I'm doing both. I have almost 100% finished kaplan. Its is harder than saunders. I like saunders for content and I like the book but the questions seem easier. Kaplan has a passing guarentee if you complete it all. I vote kaplan if you have to pick.
