The test was a blur, I can only remember bits and pieces of questions from the test. I was on question 60 at the 2 hour mark and took the optional break and came back answered the next 15 and the computer went to a blue screen....I almost died....I thought come one give me a couple a more, because at that point I didn't feel I was doing well at all, every other question was a SATA, no med calculations, no hot spots, no fill in the blank, just SATA....in a daze I filled out the survey, which I have no idea what i selected. The proctor came over and told me I was finished and the tears just started, I think it was a combination of relief and doubt. Since we had to travel a distance to take the test I needed to find wifi ASAP, we sat in front of a Sheetz store (it's the PA version of a co-gos or 7-11). After approx. 30 minutes from finishing the test I logged in to Pearson and attempted the "pearson vue trick" and it would not allow me to proceed to the payment screen. I got a message that I was already registered for the test and would need to contact a member of the board of nursing. So I hope to the Heavens that this is a good sign, I'm so stressed out. After I got home I tried it oh, about another dozen times and got the same message. But now the pearson site is down for maintenance, figures, so I can't keep checking, but according to their site it will be up at 10:45 ct, I will keep looking. I cannot wait until I get the option to pay for my "early results" in 48 hours.
You and me both!! About question 6 or 7 I thought if I'm really sucking right now, I can redeem myself I may get 265 questions, so much for that 75 and that was it. I seriously felt robbed...at 75 I felt I was answering questions better and was like come on give me a few more, I'm getting better. But I sit here today and literally can not think of one topic from any of the questions, I blocked it out, hmmmm defense mechanism used for a stressful event.....
If this pop up thing doesn't work I'm going to just die!!! lol!! I've checked the PA license registry like 50 times today and nothing has changed yet. Some say the RN license has been posted after 36 hours but it is Sunday, so I assume like other government offices they aren't working weekends! LOL!! Also I took this in WV and that may delay the results too. But I am still checking only for my sanity! I need the reassurance! The test was just so random and honestly I remember eliminating 2 and then it was like a stab in the dark with the two left over, I tried the intervention vs assessment, then maslow, then abc's and some were just too close in comparison. I had SATA every other one, some back to back. blah, just glad it's over and am praying that the "good pop up" truly works!!! Just like you I need to see the word "PASS", then I will relax!![/quote']
I did the whole thing, 265 people, it was the most difficult dreadful,, miserable 6 hrs in my life,, I wouldn't want to be placed in that room ever ever again,, I do not ever want to be scanned in and out,,
