took NCLEX PN today!

i took the nclex pn today, apr 11. took it for 2 hours until it shut off at 85. i was really nervous because most of the questions were sata, and i really wasn't so sure of my answers. :( so 2 hours after i finished i did the pvtrick and got the pop-up which says, "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact you member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time." so that's the "good pop-up", right???

Hi there, can you please share with us how you prepared for nclex? Im taking mine May 11th and Im so nervous! Terrified of failing. Also, did you find the nclex similar to hesi?

hello! i didn't do hesi cause we had ati for our school. i studied for about 4 weeks.

1st and 2nd week i schemed through saunders (just took notes on the ones that i felt i wasn't knowledgable in); + 200 questions a day

3rd week i read exam cram pn 2nd ed. + 200 questions a day

4th week i did exam cram practice questions. i also practiced the questions on saunders cd.

i think what helped me a lot was practicing the questions. nclex pn questions are all about application and basic knowledge. and oh, i didn't have dosage calc question; but lots and lots of sata's. a lot of infection control; so make sure you know the airborn, droplet, and contact precautions.

and don't forget to pray and think positive! i always told myself "i will pass the nclex." i thought i would be feeling anxious, cold, and clammy; but it was weird 2 nights before the big day because i felt so calm. :)

Did you find hesi to be similar to nclex? Im aldo doing saunders questions from the disk which Im doing good on but when I do kaplan or hurst, im scoring so low! This is so nerve wrecking! Plus Im horrible at sata!

Hey i am planning on taking mine in May as well!! I think i will use the kaplan program. and also nclex-exam.com for help as well. Good luck with all of the studying!! its going to be rough for both of us in the next few weeks :(

hi there! i took my nclex today at 8am and i got 75 items. does anyone know how many days or weeks to get the results? i'm from california. i tried the pvt but it didn't work coz i didn't graduate here? i don't know what's wrong but it won't let me go on to the payment section. any ideas? thanks and have a great evening. -ciel

Omg you must be going crazzzyyy!!!! If the payment option dosent come up then more than likely you passed. How was the test? Was it hard??? Im so nervous about mine!
