im so new to this whole site, but must say the support here is amazine and i could really use some right about now. i took my nclex on the 15 of feb and my computer shut off at 85 questions. i tried to remain calm but by question 20, i started panicing. so far all the questions that i remembered i got right but those could be the real easy questions right?? what is the percentage of people passing with 85 questions??
Thank you so much! I actually called the boards yesterday and they looked my name up and said they were mailed out on Monday. My mail usually comes around 11 am and nothing in the mail today. Hopefully tomorrow. But I have a feeling it will be friday or saturday. Earlier would be nice. Good luck to everyone waiting and I will let you guys know when I get it. Thanks for all the support. Means alot!!!!

I have the feeling that yours will come in tomorrow. I don't think it takes more than 3 days to get mail from Sac.
Hello everyone. I am new to this site and am impressed so far. I am going to be finished in July with my LPN program and taking the NCLEX in August or September. I don't feel that my LPN program is preparing me enough for the test. For those of you who have taken it, what is the best way to study? Are the questions more general or are they pretty specific such as signs and symptoms of certain diseases? I have an NCLEX review book that I intend to use to practice. Looking for some studying advice...
Thanks!!

I took a review course that helped review body systems. I also practiced questions by using the Saunders Comprehensive CD ROM and also practiced questions using the Kaplan q-bank. I practiced every day for about a month and a half before my exam. I think over studied because I'd do up to 700 questions some times. In Saunders, I studied the "Study Mode" which helps with body systems. Kaplan allowed me to prepare for the NCLEX because I think they have a similar format and the questions are formatted the same. Of course, they are not word for word questions but Kaplan's questions are very similar to how the NCLEX would ask you questions. GOOD LUCK.

I bet you'll get your results today or tomorrow! Well only because I've heard some people getting their results between 3 and 4 weeks in Cali. GOOD LUCK!
