I took the NCLEX this morning and it shut off at 75! I took the Kaplan Review course...and answered close to 3,000 questions before I took it today and I still feel horrible. I left feeling like I didn't know any of the questions. I kept thinking what if I am getting the "easy questions" and I'm getting all of them wrong?! Has anyone taken the boards in KY.......has anyone been able to get the results back faster than 48 hrs?? Any suggestions or encouragement would greatly help!! Thanks.

I'm scheduled to take the NCLEX on 2-2-04, I also took the Kaplan review in Louisville in December. I am continuing to do practice questions. Good luck to everyone and wish me luck on the 2nd.

I just found out 30 min. ago that I PASSED!!

TOLD YA! :lol2:

Congratulations and once again... Welcome to the fold! :balloons: :kiss :balloons:

I'm another for whom it shut off at 75 this morning. Either I knew my stuff solid...or am too stupid to live. :roll I got a lot of the schizo, renal, prioritizing stuff also. I also seemed to have several ?'s on normal growth and dev for infants and peds -- yuck!

Congrats to those who have passed. Good luck to all of us who are waiting.... I should know Friday so tomorrow is the day I stay busy, busy, busy so I don't fret over it.

CONGRATZ Red! I knew you would do well, just had a feeling about ya. I'm so happy for you.

Now's your time to shine...go out there and conquer the world.

For those of us taking it soon, (mine is the 29th) good luck to us all, and God Bless!

I agree that waiting for results is the hardest part. But like other people have posted, I think if you walked out feeling like that was the hardest test you have ever taken it was probably because you were doing well and qualifying yourself for the harder questions. I had 75 ques. and felt like I bombed it, but it turned out fine. Lots of prioritizing questions. Keep the faith, tell yourself you did well, and you will be an RN before you know it.:p

I took the test this morning and it shut off after 75 questions. It seems like most of them were prioritizing and the 2000 practice questions that I did, didn't seem to help. It didn't help that when I went out to my car to go to the test, it wouldn't start and I had to take a taxi to the testing center. Try finding a taxi in a city in Iowa :) Anyway, I am fairly sure that I failed because I don't feel like I knew much and a nursing friend and I went over some of the questions that I could think of and I think that I was wrong. Anyway, I will find out Monday. Also, a nursing graduate that I know went out to a casino the night before the test and drank until 3am and was hung over and had leg crampps during the test. She passed. Life is so unfair. Anyway, my heart goes out to all of you who are waiting, waiting, waiting...

I feel your pain tjjs, the anxiety of waiting is killing me! Does anybody know someone that failed with 75 questions?

Yay! I found out this afternoon that I passed! *sigh of relief*

Good luck to everyone waiting for results, or taking it soon, it is a stressful experience!

:) I PASSED ! I called tonight even though it hadn't been two business days and the results were there. I had to call twice and to have a friend check too because I can't believe it. In fact, I don't know if I will believe it until I get the paper in hand. Thanks for the support !

congratulations tjjs!!! I'm so relieved and happy for both of us! Good luck on starting your new career as an RN! :D

congradulations on your test:) 75 questions is goodthing. only 2 ways to get 75 questions one is to do really well the other is to do so bad you had no chance. I am sure that is very unlikely:)
