Hello all nurses,
I took the nckex today fir the second time. Last time I took it was august of 2011.. yea, pretty long ago. I basically feel like I self taught myself everything from the begining.
Anyway, I got around 160 something questions, then BAM screen turned blue and my heart dropped to my knees. Got home, tried the trick and kept getting the pop up everyone speaks of. How accurate is the PVT trick??? I know this question has been asked and answered a million times, but pleaseeeeee I need a peace of mind before calling it a night!
Anyone?
Thank you all!

I don't think it's too early however you don't wanna hype ya self up for a let down , but they say the good pop up is real sooo hey why not !
What did you use to study ?
I used Saunders 5th edition to brush up on content. I read the book from front cover to back. I also signed up for the ncbsn 3 week review. If you use this review, prepare for your confidence to be completely shattered because the questions are really hard, but it gets you thinking nclex style. Lastly, the last two weeks of study time I answered numerous questions from exam cram cd. This also has nclex style questions.
Hope this helps. Still keeping my fingers crossed that I passed.
Nice . Thanks so much && I think you got it in the bag ! : ) best wishes
