First let me say that I truly love this site. I do come here quite frequently for advice. However, one thing that I truly despise is when people on here think that they know everything and they obviously do not. They are giving "bad" advice to people on here and it makes me soo mad! I work at a very well known hospital in Cleveland Ohio. I got very lucky to get in there. One thing that makes me so mad is when people come on here and ask about information about this particular hospital and some of these nurses on here give inaccurate information. For example: my hospital hires diplomas, ADN's and BSN's. There are people on here that say.... "Oh, they only hire BSN's. Or.... "they dont hire new grads"......or "you can't get tuition reimbursement". This makes me so mad because none of it is true. I was a new grad, ADN, who got tuition reimbursement. I could have went directly into ICU but I chose not to. Even though people on here said that my hospital doesn't let new grads into ICU. My point is that people need to think about what you say before you type it!!!!! SOmeone may go entirely by what they read on here and not investigate any further... they could miss out on great oppurtunities.

If you see someone give out information that's contrary to your experiences, then speak up and say that hasn't been your experience. I guess I don't see the point or usefulness of getting angry.
As someone else said - nobody guarantees the information you read at this site. It would behoove you to do your own research, rather than rely completely on anything you read here. How do you know if the person answering you is even a nurse? There could actually only be four people total who post at this site, each with 82 different usernames, and they're actually garbage haulers with mad Google skillz who are simply pretending to be nurses.
