Hi everyone,
So I took an LVN course in 2009 in California and graduated 2010 but never took the NCLEX exam. I wanted to keep going to school to be an RN but I moved to TX and never pursued it bec I was thinking about getting into Physical therapy. I'm now regretting the fact that I didn't even try to finish off my LVN course. I'm frantically looking for clues on what to do to get my licence! Is it too late? If anybody can maybe guide me towards the right direction I would really appreciate it.

You may just have to do a refresher course. You said you graduated, correct?
Just contact the BON in your state and ask, and then apply.

If you are still living in Texas, you are dealing with a time limit. The Texas Board of Nursing allows graduates to take NCLEX as many times as they wish within four years of the date of graduation.
Yes I graduated but in 2010 in Californua. I then moved to Texas. I'll go ahead and contact BON

Could there be a way around the Texas time limit?? Like taking the nclex in Texas but let's say for a NM, AZ, or other nearby state for original licensure who's requirements maybe be a bit more lax and then endorsing into Texas?
