I just got done watching tonight's final presidential debate and I had to vent my frustrations somewhere. I think my family and friends are tired of listening to me :) I am very upset that the issue of environmental policy was not mentioned in the entire 90 minute debate that was supposed to focus on domestic issues. I don't want this thread to turn into a scary Bush vs Kerry debate, but I really wanted Bush to be asked at least one question regarding some of the decisions he and his administration have made reagarding the environment while he has been in office. It would have been nice to hear a question pertaining to his decision to drill for oil in the Alaskan wilderness or maybe his decision to raise the limit for mercury emissons by factories by 10 times. I think Bush's dangerous environmental policy is one of the biggest threats to our country's future safety and health. Does anyone else back me up on this. I guess I just needed to vent my frustration. Thanks for listening:)

I just wish someone would run who I could vote for w/ a smile on my face. I hate Bush's Iraq debacle and I feel like Kerry's choice of Edwards means he's in the trial attorneys pockets-just what we don't need. We need to get some higher quality candidates. How about seeing some nurses run? Oops, I forgot you have to be a multi-millionaire (or married to one) to afford to run for the presidency.

His environmental issues were touched on in the second debate via a brief reference to his "blue Skies" program by Kerry. Although nothing much was answered, Kerry just referred to it with regard to similar issues that you touched on. Funny, that was the first time i had really heard he even had any type of initiative for environmental issues, and hadnt heard it called that before.
