Tomorrow is the day

So, tomorrow I take the NCLEX-RN. Today I'm trying to relax and not freak! Thank you all for the advice and encouragement. I do not go "gently" into the NCLEX beast, but strong, prepared but not proud, and well rested and relaxed to end victorious!!! As my instructor always said to us "you know stuff"! Godspeed to all of you that are preparing for the NCLEX.

I am scheduled for boards July 2. I did a KAPLAN live review and enjoyed it. Im scoring 60-65 on qbank. I also did a ATI live course for 3 days our school paid for which I thought was not helpful so im not wasting time doing their practice questions online. I also have 3 weeks web access to NCSBN. Now I am not sure what to focus the last two weeks on. There is not enough time to do it all. Any suggestions would be nice.

@ tsnowman87 I only had 3 weeks after my Kaplan review but I followed their plan and did the work. I made myself do it. Reviewing my questions and understanding why I missed them is what was most helpful. I really put in the time and work. NCLEX was very similar in visual setup and questions. I think Kap questions are much harder and made you think more. Don't just do what makes you comfortable, do what challenges you and forces you to take extra steps to be successful.

Good luck! I finished in 1 hour and 75 questions. I did Kaplan. The nclex questions were a lot easier then the Kap questions. That's for sure!!! Especially the SATA.

Thanks so much I appreciate that. I need to learn to take deep breaths and stop stressing so much over it. I think I am letting my anxiety take over because I look at all the books and resources I have and think to myself there is no way I can get through it all in two weeks. But I am going to be positive and work hard on my qbank and focus. I have heard good things about Kaplan so I hope this works for me.

I'm in the same boat as you I have Kaplan and the 3 week NCSBN and I dont know what to focus on !!! I have 10 days and I'm officially FRAEKING out!!:eek:

10 days is plenty! Get all the Kaplan stuff done! Youll be be done in 75 questions! :)

Received my results this afternoon, I passed!!! Now if someone asks are you a nurse I won't be confused. Yes I'm an RN!!! YAY!!!
