Wear a scrub warm up jacket over your uniform. They usually have long sleeves and are made out of thick fabric which will give your arms some protection. If your facility allows, wear one of the isolation gowns which also has long sleeves. If you have a T-shirt with long sleeves you could also wear that under your scrub top. And be careful. Keep an eye on where this lady's mouth is when you are working with her.

So I just got my CNA this month and just started my new job going into peoples homes. I started with this lady and I was helping her to the bathroom and she turned around and bit me soooo hard in the arm! It did break the skin and was an instant bloody bruise.. Now I am kind of scared but im not going to give up. I need to know if anyone has any advice on what I can wear tomorrow so maybe if it happens again it wont break my skin and wont hurt as bad?! Any suggestions would be great thank you!!
