After a long long summer of studying things have finally come together. I took the boards in July and failed. I went right back to the books. Put my all into the beast.
I retested on Saturday. The computer shut down at 75 and I felt pretty good. As time went on I started to have those feelings of despair. Couldn't think straight!
Then today at 12 pm. 49 hours later there was the word I have been waiting for "pass".
This board has been very helpful mentally and especially finding out I wasn't alone.
Chiefy! Congratulations! I have been away for a few days and am just catching up on the boards. I agree with you in that the 2nd time I tested, I had a different point of view mentally. That is such a big part of the exam. You just need to tell yourself you can do it and you can!
Things are falling into place. I start my job next week. I was supposed to start the beginning of August. That didn't happen--but they held the job for me.
