Published

Hello everyone...I am new to this site. I came looking for support and help. My classmate and I have been getting together to study everyday for the last 2 weeks. We test on Wednesday and Thursday next week....we have Saunders, and Silvestri....we have been just doing questions, anything else anyone can recommed to get in this weekend? I am going for a massage on Tuesday...(I test on Wednesday). I am SO scared.....and Nervous, and I kinda just want it over with.....

THanks in advance for any info you may offer.

Shannon

Welcome to the site and good luck on your test.

Best of luck on your exam.

Can I ask what you were doing prior to these past two weeks to review?

Actually, nothing much. We all had a Rayfield Review together....when we will still in class....we just finished December 19th....I kinda took the holidays off....and did nothing (shame on me) Took my exit HESI on Decemeber 22, and then just relaxed.....and about two weeks ago we started just doing questions.....asking each other questions, going over our Rayfield book.....etc. I am going to go get the Saunders book today, and try to get through the whole book of questions, and read the rationals for all the ones I get wrong.....any other suggestions?

Medications and lab values are something else that you need to know.

There is no way that you are going to be able to get thru the Saunder's in a week, and trying to do so will only make things harder on you when it comes to test time as you will have overtaxed your brain.

The book does not have that many questions, it is the CD that you would want to use. But only having a few days left; I would tell you just to focus on the material that you do have and not try to add anything in at this late date, especially in terms of a new book.

How long since graduation and studying for NCLEX????

Don't want to test too soon or too late after graduation. I studied 100 questions a day from the Saunders book.

I used that CD every day for 6 weeks until the questions just became 2nd nature. Questions, questions and more questions...

We actually have been doing question cards by Saunders, and have gotten through almost all of them. I have the Saunders Book...and doing the CD. I thought I had a different book....but it is Saunders....We graduated on December 19th, so it is just a little bit over a month since graduation. One of our classmates found out today that she passed. She took it yesterday at 11:00am and it was posted on the OBN this morning about 11:05am. She only studied the Saunders book, and only very little. We had intense NCLEX prep classes, and had to do over 3000 questions to be eligible for graduation....The MEDS are my most worse fear.....lab values are ok....I think. I will go over those this weekend.....thanks for the help!
