To Pittsburgh vicinity nurses - questions about public transportation and/or housing

I am going for LPN refresher program at CCAC in downtown Pittsburgh. I live about 70 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. So, the commute will be quite exhausting. However, I have a niece who lives in McKees Rocks that I could probably stay with on my clinical days which will start at 7 am. Can anyone tell me of where I could catch a bus from McKees Rocks area to Downtown Pittsburgh?

Also, my husband works in Washington, PA. He has a room that he rents in Canonsburg during the week, and he comes home on weekends. The other option is to stay with him. However, he has a small room with just a twin bed. I thought that I may stay with him on days that I have classes which start at 9. So, I would like to know where I could catch a bus from the Washington area?

Ideally, I could find a room to rent for myself for the 10 weeks. My focus is going to be on my studies. So, if anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

TIA.

Okay, never mind about the housing, I have that covered now. And, I will only have about a 20 minute commute to CCAC, so I will probably just drive.

For future reference, a good place for rooms is http://www.craigslist.org.

For transportation in the Pittsburgh area, http://www.portauthority.org

Yeah..I was just going to suggest the PAT website.
