TMCC Fall 2011

Published

Does anyone have any idea when they will or if they have begun sending out the acceptance letters for the Fall? Its crazy to me that they wait so long to tell you. Makes it hard to plan!

Well they only have once class on the schedule for the fall though so they couldnt fit anymore people in I dont think.

I just looked at the nursing 1 course, says 50 seats....

That's the 2 part course, says 50 in one area and 32 in the other... Got excited for a moment.

Make sure to get your TB done soon. It's a 2 step so it takes 10 days to complete the series. ( and you can't have it done within weeks of some other immunizations ..if you need them. Also, if you don't have the CPR get it ASAP they want the card and that takes around two weeks to get after you take a class.

This is the reason I find it so irritating that they don't tell us sooner. There are quite a few things that have to be taken care of. I'm not retaking CPR until I know I'm in because they expire and it would be dumb to have to retake it. Grrr

My requirements were:

Two step TB: one test in the other arm 7 days after the first .

MMR- 2 immunizations each( school records usually suffice)

Hep B- series of 3, they will accept the initial.

Varicella- immunizations or titer to prove immunity

CPR(prefer American Heart Association)

Medical Insurance Card

-all of these are required to be submitted to a company called certifiedbackground.com via immunization tracker. They accept your documentation and approve it with the clinical sites and your administrator.

Background check is through a different company

Not sure why but I think today is a good day for news.

Word around the campfire is that today is the day. Letters of acceptance for both classes will go out today. Rejection letters will not be sent out yet as all accepted applicants have 10 days in which to respond.

It's the 15th! That would be awesome if they went out today.....possibility we could have them by tomorrow then!!

Bones---is this wishful thinking or did you get some inside information :)

I actually heard something, but who knows!?

That sounds about right though! So now I guess that no news is not good news anymore! Ughhh
