TMCC Fall 2011

Published

Does anyone have any idea when they will or if they have begun sending out the acceptance letters for the Fall? Its crazy to me that they wait so long to tell you. Makes it hard to plan!

It is the same amount of time for a BS, not a bad back up plan!

The cutoff for Orvis was just a bit above a 3.8

Sad that I would've got in there because I had a 3.87 the way they calculate GPA but I may not get into TMCC. It's a crazy world we live in I tell ya!!

Yes, it's a bit sad that this is what it has become. It appears that at least this year it has become at least as difficult to get into an AS nursing program than a BS nursing program. Food for thought I guess....

Ok who is calling today ?? Haha.

Not me! I've called every day this week haha. I've actually had other family members call too, even calling different numbers to see if all of the information is the same. I feel like a detective waiting for a break in the case!!!!

Have you been getting that this week or next they should go out? Any word on if rejections have actually gone out?

You guys are making me more nervous! I am going to call them right now, see if we can get a better idea of what's up!

I wonder if they will send out all 64 at same time? My mind is wildly sPeculating at this point!!!

I am wondering the same thing too. What if you get a rejection letter, and then somebody decides that they don't want to go, do they contact you (person with rejection letter) and tell you that you are in? I wonder if they have an alternate's list?!

I would think that there is a waitlist (of the people who fell just below those who got in) that will get in if others drop or cant attend for some reason. But who knows, they are giving us NO information...thats the worst part :(

I tried to call ---- and she goes straight to voicemail. I am sure the people in health sciences office are shutting off the lights and locking the door hoping that all the prospective nursing students will leave them alone. We are still out here!!
