TMCC Fall 2011

Published

Does anyone have any idea when they will or if they have begun sending out the acceptance letters for the Fall? Its crazy to me that they wait so long to tell you. Makes it hard to plan!

Oh I pulled that one too.....although it was true because I was out of town in the end of June and didn't want to miss the letter and she just told me to send my acceptance letter just in case but most likely we wouldnt know before July 15th.

Ok, I think this is becoming an addiction :) I just called and spoke with Barbara...she said they are working to get ALL notifications out this week or next (Fall/Spring). When I asked if rejections have gone out she just said they are trying to get everything out. Sigh, the waiting is killing me. TMCC is the only place I applied this year and I really hope I made the cut *fingers crossed*, to get into WNC I need to retake Chemistry... TMCC is a big gamble for me since this is my second degree and a 3 hour drive!!! But I know it will be worth it, especially if we are classmates!!! I can tell we would all get along!

We should all meet for coffee when this waiting game is over! kinda like a woo hoo!

It is an addiction!! Perhaps WHEN (wishful thinking) we all get in we should start a new tradition and have a PRE NURSING party!! Im sure everyone has the POST party!! We could have before and after pictures and see how much our hair has greyed! LOL:eek:

I love both ideas!! Would be funny to see how we change after the program!! My Mom went gray in nursing school! Coffee sounds fantastic too, I always hear that a good study group is the best thing you can do!

By the way.....did anyone see the nursing video on youtube that the last class made?? It was pretty silly and funny

I am already going gray and I am only 30!

Have a great day ladies, going out to run off some of this nervous energy!!

Does anyone know what the how they evaluate entrance into Orvis at UNR? I know that the prerequisites are broader, but I've heard that acceptance was determined by straight up GPA. Anyone shed some light?

Yes that is correct.....strictly GPA. And from what I gather anyone less than a 3.7 has a hard time.

I hate to be a "negative nancy", but I'm only 0.2 away from that now. Should things not go well with TMCC....well, its hard to believe that a BA in nursing is now my backup plan for next year! Lol

Must proofread! BS...lol
