Does anyone have any idea when they will or if they have begun sending out the acceptance letters for the Fall? Its crazy to me that they wait so long to tell you. Makes it hard to plan!
From what I remember reading on one of the TMCC nursing pages, they were not going to round in case there was a close enough tie. Then they could go all the way out to the hundredths to determine eligibility. Yikes! From the sound of most of your numbers, I am not holding out to much hope for getting in, a 6.8 is reaaally not looking good. Oh well, I have other plans that hopefully are going work out in this silly scramble to be an RN.
I guess that really comes down to how many of the original 285 were not really qualified to apply! Hopefully there was a lot of under qualified people leaving those of us who are up to par to get in!!! Or maybe that number was totally inflated...but it sounded like WNC didnt get that many applicants this year so who knows!!
I think once you subtract out those who were indeed not qualified, which as I understand was a substantial number. Then subtract out all the UNR students who applied at TMCC as a backup, but were accepted to Orvis. Do the same for WNC and the nearby California schools, and I think there will be a more manageable number of people that we are competing against. That's my thoughts anyway.
Bones, I like your line of thinking! Hopefully the number of qualifieds will be a lot lower! Saundee, I also ended up taking the chemistry portion, and it was included in my overall science total for the HESI and when I called to confirm that they would recalculate it to take off the chem from the cumulative they stated that they will for sure not be including it!

I was just adding up all my points again because I found my actual Hesi Report. I couldnt remember the exact scores I got. Does anyone know if on both GPA and HESI if they round them?? So if you got a 91.30% on the Hesi and divided by 25 it would round to 3.7 points because its 3.65 but if they round to 91% its a 3.64 or 3.6 if they round? Same with GPA. I'm driving myself crazy....I think no matter how it works out I come out with a 7.4...Unless the GPA is cumulative for all undergrad course work instead of just nursing GPA.
