TMC training with Pima CC

WHOA!!! I just got an email saying I can apply to the TMC program, a year and a half ahead on the waiting list. If I am chosen in the application process I can start this fall! I have met all the requirements, except two... Fingerprint card. (application is ready to go, just needs to be mailed.) One class. (cultural awareness). Do you think they would see past that and accept me anyway as long as I have those requirements filled by the start date?

I got the same email. I need to mail my finger print card and I have two co-reqs to finish. I emailed the contact at TMC and she said as long as the classes are done by August, I would still be eligible. Good Luck! :D

That would be awesome if we both get it. Your answer is really encouraging to me. Now I'm nervous about the essay questions... they are tough to answer. I took a look at their website and their facility is really impressive! :yeah:

Did you also get an email from PCC for the Spring? I am going to try for the TMC opportunity for this Fall and if that doesn't work out I'll start with PCC in the Spring. I'm not too worried about the essay questions. I'm concerned about taking 2 classes (6 credits) over summer while my kids are out of school. I need to find some child care! ;)

What are you taking for Global Awareness class?

I didn't get in. :( It hit me pretty hard, but the next week I got an email to possibly bump me up a semester to possibly start fall 2011. I hope I keep getting bumped forward.

Considering TMC's nursing program. If anyone is currently a student or past student of the program I would appreciate your info on their program. Thanks for any information you can give.
