hehehe as usual i really need to pass this NClex! thanx for the full moral support! hehe

keep practicing lots of questions...Goodluck

definitely, do questions. i took a review class with a 98-99% pass rate, and they recommend doing 200+ questions per day until the day before you take boards. they say you should only go back and review concepts of questions you repeatedly get wrong. by the time you take your exam, you should be getting between 65-75% of questions correct in order to be prepared. GL!

Do questions. Our Kaplan instructor suggested to do about 50 a day and review them all, he said if we do more we wont remember the rationale. I did about 75Q's a day (except for QTs that have more Q's, those you have to do in 1 sitting as if you were actually taking the test, with a few breaks of course). If you do all of the questions they have for you (its about 3000), you'll be fine. Good luck!!!

thank you everyone for the advice!

sitting down in front of a computer doing all those questions will better prepare you for what's ahead. don't expect the computer to shut off after 75 questions. Just answer each one to the best of your knowledge. Don't think that just because youre getting more questions, youre going to fail. The more questions you get, the more chances the computer is giving you to pass. Good luck!

I passed on my second try. I would definately recommend to keep doing practice questions! the first time I took the test I mostly just reviewed the content from kaplan course book and the saunders book but obviously that didn't work.. so the second time around I purchased the kaplan online qbank and did all the questions (doing ~200 questions/day), did all the quesitons from the kaplan question trainer (believe me, i was dying coz there were so many), reread the kaplan book, did just the questions in the saunders book. I made sure to read the rationale for all the questions, even the ones I got right. I heard from various people that the kaplan course itself wasn't too helpful but the qbank and question trainer CD's were the most helpful and most similar to the nclex questions.

also, i didn't believe it at first, but i REALLY think it's important to have a positive attitude going into the test and even DURING the test. BELIEVE that you WILL PASS. the second time i did this, although i was panicking a little throughout my second try (when i passed) because i was getting so many select all questions (which i''m weakest at) and medication questions... but thankfully, i did pass :)

anyway, so my best advice, as already stated by everyone else, is to PRACTICE QUESTIONS!!!! Good Luck, and God Bless!
