Time spent studying for the TEAS

How long did it take you to study for the TEAS?

I have this same question. I have 7 weeks before my TEAS test. Is that enough time?!! Answers please!!!

I worked through the ATI study guide for 4 weeks an hour a night. I used Khan academy to clarify anything I don't get. I also borrowed McGraw-Hills TEAS practice tests from my school library and did those the week prior to to test.

Hope that helps :)

I studied on and off for about 2 weeks and scored an 82 on the first try.

One week should be ok if you study every day. The reading, math, and english portion is pretty straightforward but I found the science portion to be rather challenging....use other resources besides the study guide to enhance the science portion.

Good luck!

Helpful. I am sure I will need more time than this, but it helps that some of you did not need a whole lot of time and still did well.

Thanks.

It all depends on how much you remember from school and if you have to learn it all now. For some, it will be a quick refresher. For others, some of the information was never learned in the first place. Then what kind of score do you need? Some only need 64.9% while others need 90% or higher. Does your school use all 4 sections, or just 2 sections?

It is quicker and easier to refresh memory, then to learn and understand something new. I studied 2 weeks
