Tidewater Community College Spring 2021

I could not find a board started for the Spring 2021 school year at Tidewater Community College. Just thought I'd open one up for any applicants on here.

Hi, everyone! 
Hope I’ll be joining you all in the Spring. Does anyone have clarification about the math scores? Are they being considered? Losing that would drop my average score. How did everyone do on the science portions?

Yeah I looked at all the individual class averages! I printed my report when I took my HESI and included it with my application and I'm glad I did since it isn't calculating math now....what the heck!? I got a 96 on the math portion!

Khaleesi ! I just looked about the math like wth!! I’m curious I had no idea I wonder if we should call and ask! I did pretty good in science I got an 80 in Chemistry and then a 96 on both anatomy and biology . My reading scores were all around 80-90 except understanding I got a 79 ? my math I got a 96 so I’m gonna need them to take that into account! I mean they made us take it right !!?!

Awesome scores! Great job. Just curious, what did you use to study for the anatomy section? I didn’t do as well as I thought I would and I think my source wasn’t great ?

We didn’t have to include our scores in the application, right?? ?. I feel like my overall score hasn’t changed since I took the test, I’d have to double check though

Thank you!! I was so anxious I think I was shaking through at least half the test. I used nurse hub! I studied that everyday for about a month and I had an amazing teacher I for A&P 1+2 I think that made all the difference for me I focused a lot on the bio and Chemistry practice quizzes and test but nurse hub was a life saver if costed 50$ for the subscription but it was worth every dollar.

We didn't have to include scores I just did because I am paranoid like that LOL! Just like I included a copy of my nursing license and also the current status of my license from the VA Board of Nursing as of the day I sent the application...

And Michelle good job those scores are awesome! I got a 92 in A&P and Chemistry but an 88 in Bio...

My math score is still showing. I got a 82 for math. Chemistry was my lowest score at 76. Everything else I did fairly well on. Anatomy was an 86.

Vocabulary 98

Grammer 92

Reading Comprehension 90

Critical Thinking 950

Biology 88

Anatomy and Physiology 92

Chemistry 92

My GPA is a 3.71, and I have take English Comp 1&2, Intro to Healthcare, Medical Terminology, Intro to Psych, Developmental Psych, Abnormal Psych, A&P 1&2, Ethics, and Social Ethics. I'm taking Microbiology and Statistics right now.  I just hope it is good enough to get in!

Stephanie that's great scores! From what I got in my response in my last application I think you'd be a shoe in!

 

What ever group you guys make I'm good with. Google hangouts might be good because it will be easy to continue using for those who get accepted.
