Tidewater Community College Spring 2021

Published

I could not find a board started for the Spring 2021 school year at Tidewater Community College. Just thought I'd open one up for any applicants on here.

We need to share some tips and tricks for making the next month go by super fast

I recommend a glass of wine ?  or maybe two LMAO

So far I don't really mind the virtual classes, as I take as much online as I can anyway.  But I think that I have an advantage with that because I am already working as a nurse, so the information is not brand new to me....

Does anyone know what they perform in a medical examination? They are charging $200-$350 for it. I'm just asking out of curiosity LOL So far, I know that they take blood pressure and have the students do some basic physical movements such as sitting down and standing right back up, etc.

Wow haha I have no idea. That seems so high... I wonder if insurance is accepted

I'm assuming they should be able to? Also, did you attach the immunization records in the nursing packet?

No I didn’t... did we have to? ?

No No No! I was just wondering haha

It should just be a physical and fitness of duty form I would think....

I don't remember if it was for tcc, but I had some students who needed the medical form completed bring it into the office I worked for. The doctor filled it out and signed it. It basically asked different questions all leading up to physician answering yes or no if patient could do x y z within reason and getting immunization records, having tb test. I'm thinking we will have the option to complete it with our own pcps.

Is anyone else out there wishing, hoping, and praying that THIS is the week??

Yes but at the same time highly doubting it’ll be ?
