Hi all! I was wondering who will be applying to TCC in Portsmouth for Spring 2020 admit. Wondering what you got on the HESI as well as if you finished any pre reqs/co reqs and GPA with those. Thanks and good luck!

An 83 isnt bad at all!! I called evolve and they said they can see my results but it's a technic glitch and they will have it escalated on Monday. I hope everything is okay though.

Hello! I am planning on applying for the nursing program for the spring 2020. I am scheduled to take my HESI on 7/18, what kind of things can I expect on it? I have taken ENG 111 with an A, PSY 201 with an A, SDV with an A, and I'm currently taking BIO 141 and PSY 230. I am scheduled to take BIO 142 and Social Ethics in the fall. I am super nervous about the HESI, I am 21 years removed from school so I am trying to remember all my basic of things. ? Good Luck to us all!

Hi, I would definitely study the house hold measurements and metric system for the math section. The rest is basic math with multiplication, division, addition and subtraction of fractions and some word problems. The science sections aren't that bad, just a mixture of different thingsn so its hard to say what to study. Vocabulary is just a lot of different words that are hard to study for because you don't know what words will be on there. Just study as many words as you can. Grammar was just alot of which word wasn't used correctly or fill in the blank with the correct word and a few nouns, adjective and adverb questions. It wasn't really that hard at all. If you've studied, you will do just fine. Alson use the pocket prep app for practice. Hopefully that helped.

Hey everyone, i applied a week ago and i can't stop worrying. I got Eng 111- A Psy 230- A Psy 201- A Phi 226 A Bio 141- B Sdv- B. I am taking Bio 142 this fall at VB campus. And i got an 82.57 on the HESI exam. I did really good in every subject except for chemistry because ive never taken a chemistry class. That chem section literally ruined my overall. Im so scared im not going to get in. I get out of the navy in october so im really depending on this. How did everyone else do on the HESI? Im upset with myself for not studying more. I wish we could take it twice.
I'm in the same boat because I got a C in anatomy but I got a 95 on my hesi so we will see! I cant do anything except wait ?
I got an 83 @heathynewnew I messed up so bad on the math section. I also don't have PHI 226, taking that this fall along with Bio 142. I have just not thought about it since I turned my app in.
I’m scheduling my Hesi tomorrow! I’m nervous I been studying the book. How many questions are there on the Hesi?
UGH! You guys did better on your HESI than I did. I only got a 79. I have all A's in everything else that I have taken and I have 2 of the co-req's done. I am hoping so badly that the 45th percentile is lower than 79. I'm handing in my packet tomorrow morning. Best of luck to us all. ?
@Katfishmb when did you take your Hesi?
