Tidewater Community College Spring 2020

Hi all! I was wondering who will be applying to TCC in Portsmouth for Spring 2020 admit. Wondering what you got on the HESI as well as if you finished any pre reqs/co reqs and GPA with those. Thanks and good luck!

Found this form and still waiting for letter. But since I see the HESI cut off was 80.8 I don’t think I’ll get in as I scored a 80.29 ?

I have not yet applied to other programs, I am working on my prerequisites for BSN programs right now. So I think I will continue on those pre requisites, brush back up on general academics (especially chemistry- that's what sunk me) and try again for next year or, if i have all of the prerequisites done, apply to Sentara's BSN program.

Hi everyone....I've been waiting this week for a letter as well and it came today. I did get in so I'm really excited. This is a second career for me and a dream of mine for over 10 years. I hope all of you get in but if you don't, please don't give up. I didn't get in when I applied in February but took a couple more classes and succeeded this go around.

Congrats on getting in! Was your letter in a large envelope (8 by 11) or a normal letter envelope?

My letter was in a manilla colored envelope about 8"x10". Last semester my rejection letter was in a normal white envelope.

Well that answers my question about getting in. Mine is a plain white envelope. Oh well.

The anticipation is killing me. I didn't do bad overall but my chemistry section was pretty low and I'm missing bio 142.
