Tidewater Community College Nursing Fall 2019

Anyone out there applying to the fall 2019 program? Today’s the first day to apply and I feel like I’m overly excited to submit my application lol. The only pre-req I haven’t taken is Bio 142 & the math placement test.

It’s so weird how quiet this forum is lol. I feel like the previous cycles had a bunch of people waiting & we only have 4 of us in here.

@Tayquick08 that would be nice! Lol. I just know when I went to the information session back in February the room was super packed. It’s hard to imagine that a good amount of them weren’t applying for fall 2019.

Hmm maybe, when I went to my session it was super packed but a lot of them were just out of high school and some were just starting.

My info session was full! Super long lines to sign in and it felt like every seat was full. I felt like a handful of people asking questions were talking about later cycles and prereqs though. Also very possible that a lot of other applicants don’t know about all nurses

Something I found that you guys may already know is that you can check / compare your individual HESI section scores with the class average.

Open up the Admission Assessment Report, View results and it’s at the top

So..., I applied to Old Dominion University as well and I received my acceptance letter today into there BSN.

I haven't decide as yet. I have a 14 months old baby, so I'm really thinking about it. Its 5 semester for the bachelor at ODU and 4 semester at TCC for the associate degree. My only concern is that I will have to take 6 classes per semester at odu and I am sure if I can cope with the baby. So I am waiting for TCC to decide

That's awesome! Congratulations on your acceptance! I hear that ODU and Sentara have some of the best programs in this area, along with TCC

I think we all wanted to apply to ODU but were missing some classes lol

Yay congrats how exciting! I wanted to apply to ODU but They require for me to take a foreign language and idk about that ?!
