Good evening group I wanted to stop in and say hello now that I finally registered for the site. I've applied for the Spring start (days) with a 3.5 GPA and an 89% on the HESI. I can see many get intrigued to see who the pool of applicants are so I posted that info 1st haha! Good Luck to all during this nail biting wait.

Did you take your CPR class through TCC?

yes ma'am I did. I took the class one saturday at the Tcc Norfolk campus, and got my license a week latter through mail.

I know it is two months from the deadline. So, I think it is around October 15 but don't quote me

it is HLT 105. It is graded, and before you show to the class you have to have completed a questionnaire. They make you read about the laws about the good samaritan in Virginia, and some other states. I got to learn that in Alabama they can sue you if you perform CPR, and you break a rib, or bruce them (crazy uh). they teach you compression they changed from being A,B, C to the C,A,B.

It is really interesting!!!

When I dropped the application she said two months after the deadline, so I asked her after 10/15 correct?, she said round that day, it depends on the number of applicants. I cannot believe August is almost over. So time is flying pass, just in case I recommend you to take the classes you need before getting into the program, example CPR.
