Tidewater Community College Fall 2021

Published

Hi everybody. This forum is for friendly discussion for those who are applying to Tidewater community college's nursing program for fall 2021. Good luck!

What?!?! You will get in!! Your HESI score is wayyy high enough and you finished pre and co-reqs too!! I also transferred from TCC to ODU. It really depends on what major you’re going into. I took MTH 245 Intro to Stat and Precalc 1&2 for Psyc major. Most universities don’t require MTH 154 unless it’s pre-req for Intro to Stat.

Thank you! I hope so.

That's good to know about that class. I will have to do some more research into that. I was thinking maybe it's something that I would have to still take.

I was thinking the 45th percentile for this cycle will be higher considering the class average is 3.43 higher than the last cycle. What do you guys think? (We’ll know exact average on the 16th when everyone has taken their HESI)

Mmm. I think it's possible. My best guess is it won't go over 84 average.

Yeah me too. I think (45th percentile)83-84 is the highest it can go.

Do you remember about when we will see letters? Is it around April?

Yeah we should be getting our letters by 4/15/21.

Hi there!

I sent my application in last week and took my HESI today and scored a 95%! I’ve taken A&P II, social ethics, and I’m in micro right now. I hope we all get in!

Hello everyone! I wanted to know what is the score range you can get on the HESI?

Hi! I believe there’s no specific score range for HESI as long as your score is in the 45th percentile which we wouldn’t know until we get our decision letters.

95% is excellent Nicole_n!

The HESI score really works on being in whatever that 45% is that cycle. So last cycle I think the class average was 81% score.

Hi everyone! I just took my HESI and got a 84.86% hole it’s enough. Grammar and Biology killed me ? how is everyone ? I have all the nerves
