Hey everyone! I wanted to make a new thread for anyone applying now for Fall 2016 start.? I am finishing up my last prerequisite class this semester and I will be taking the HESI exam this week.

I just called them and they said they mailed out their last batch of letters on Friday so we should be getting them soon.

FutureRN I actually do live on the border of Portsmouth and Suffolk! Maybe that's it

I live in Suffolk as well. Northern part. It's strange that the letters are spaced far apart because they weren't like this last year. I hope you guys get your letters tomorrow!! & thank you so much everyone for the congratulations :)

Got my letter today! I'm cohort 1! It was postmarked April 15 which was Friday. I had a gpa of 3.83, my last pre-req is statistics which I'm finishing this semester along with a couple things I need for an Associates of Science which I will receive next month, but those are not for nursing pre-reqs. Bio 141 B, Bio 142 A, Microbiology B, social ethics B, Chem 111 A, Eng 111 & 112 A's. Actually everything else was A's. My 3 B's were A&P1, Social Ehtics and Micro. But I know Chem 111 can be used in place of Micro so they may have used that A. My Hesi was an 88 - but I ran out of time which brought my math score down. I only answered the first 15 math questions and I got a 100 on those, but I ran out of time. They said they would take that into consideration. The rest of my Hesi scores were between 94-100 per section. So I don't know how they viewed that. ODU let me re-take it and I scored a 94. (I also got accepted to their program).

I hope I get my letter today. The wait is driving me crazy lol. I will let you guys know something by the end of the day.

Ssathia1, if I were you, I would call tomorrow if you don't get one by then! I read a few people have done that in a past thread.

Thank you Scoontz!! Words can't describe how I am feeling at this moment. But yes, I'm surprised not as many people are on this site as it was in previous years. I will definitely be checking the new thread daily. I am not sure about the Facebook group but I will hold off too on that.

Ssathia1 I agree with Scoontz, I would call up to the school tomorrow if you dont get it.

Ah, no letter again. I called the office and they said they would mail out a new letter today. Here's to another few days!
