Another pretty good day at work, had time to help out at the end of the day.  After getting so many new cases in the last month I haven't gotten any this week. Hope that trend continues

Got the laundry done during lunch, so I was able to go grocery shopping after work and exercise before the vestry meeting, which thankfully was on Zoom and  shorter than usual.  Will be glad to be done with those meetings after next month

Little disappointed my car has not yet arrived, still in IN, which means it probably won't be ready tomorrow when I have the day off.  Oh well, if the car isn't ready by then I may head downtown to the Christmas market, which I haven't been to in years

After work tonight meeting my church friend Denise for dinner, will be nice to have more time to talk than just after church

Going to be another warmer than usual day in the mid 60s, but will be significantly cooler by tomorrow

Joe sorry about the car not getting there when you want.

Turmeric has indeed been studied extensively as an anti-inflammatory.  I think it's been shown to help with arthritis pain .  Black pepper does indeed have an ingredient to make it more bioactive.   I took some in pill form where they isolate the active ingredient.   I found what I thought was a good quality brand.  This was when I was having the trigger finger problem.  Not sure it helped but it went away.

Warmer this morning in the 50s.   I leave tomorrow evening.  The dog sitter says he will still be up and I can get them tomorrow.

Not warm, not cold. No rain, small peeks of sunshine. LOTS and LOTS of leaves on the ground. 

Nannie woke up, has been dressed, medicated, and fed. Momo ate and peed/pooped. I have had my 2 cups of coffee. The "janitor" (me, of course) has gathered and put all trash in the barrel to be delivered to the end of the driveway, to be picked up tomorrow morning. The dishes in the sink are done. But, NO laundry to do today! ? Can you even believe that?!!

Should go out to pick up a couple of med refills, but I will probably leave that for tomorrow. IRS continues to ignore me; no one answers the phone at the tax prep office.

I think I will actually COOK a casserole for supper tonight: macaroni and cheese with smoked ham (tsk-tsk) and spinach on the side.

Another day and no dollars (variation of a saying) because my SS check doesn't come until next week. 

May the remainder of these hours today continue to be as dull and boring as the earlier hours have been. (w00t!)

No macaroni in the house! Some crazy lady dumped all the open packages because they were sitting in that cupboard, open, for months and months and many more months. So, I have used, in its place, whole-grain brown rice instead of noodles. Hope it is "fit to eat!"

I am also making biscuits, a rare day in June, or even November! Okay, my five minutes is up; must return to the kitchen to put the polishing touches (???) on the meal and dish it out to our plates. Going to have a Eat-From-a-Tray-and-Watch-The-News meal.

A late hello for the day but Oh Well, at least I got here!

I am feeling much better today, I think the Covid Booster Blahs are gone!  I cleaned some, and have the second load of wash in the dryer.  Dh and I practiced for an upcoming Christmas program (only 20 min, for a small group).  We will meet with fiddler this weekend to practice more, so at least we may sound like we've practiced!

It rained yesterday, that was nice.  Today is cloudy and cooler, which is OK.  May rain some tomorrow and Saturday.

That's about it for here, we are sorta boring!  ?

Im sitting in a cooking classroom, waiting to learn how to make Italian Christmas treats. I made Mac n cheese too, for dh and the grand boys. We went shopping for a new ceiling fan. But need to measure the old one. Another roofer came to give an estimate. Clear and cool for today and tomorrow. Down to 29 at night.
