Stars glad the doctor's appointment went OK

NJ22 that does sound like an annoying day

Tweety that must be aggravating, that they did that so last minute

Yesterday did not turn out to be a good day after all.  Lots of emails and voicemails, and a rather aggravating call with someone at another insurance company (which was odd, have never had to speak to another insurance company before in this job).  Did get done on time but did not have time to help anyone else

Rest of the day was better, went out and did the grocery shopping and an errand or two.  Emailed with the body shop about when I should bring my car in

This morning woke up to a great deal of cat vomit to clean, much more than is normal.  Took a fair amount of time cleaning up.  Will have to call the vet today  to make sure this isn't something like a bowel obstruction.  Hopefully will not have to take the cat in

Nothing else planned today except for a haircut later

Will be a nice day today, upper 70s with no rain expected

I'm up and now I have to get Nannie up before the caregiver comes in an hour. I don't have time to show her Nannie's getting-up routine, will do that another time. I'll be back here later on-----

Somewhere in eastern Illinois., headed for Rolla, Missouri tonight and home tomorrow.

Joe and J22, I'm sorry you had such irritating days.  I hope the cat is OK.

Hubs was awful to me after we got to the hotel room last night, snarling that I was "an impediment rather than a help." He apologized later. I suppose it was a tiring and emotional day. Gma was in a bad mood and hitting anyone who tried to do anything with her. She even started hitting me with silverware in her hand at the church dinner after the service. I'm not sure... could be wrong ... but I don't think she has any idea what this was all about. She sat in the Pew collecting everything she could get her hands on... Bibles, hymnals, a pen and pencil, an entire box of tissues stuffed in her blouse, and even the velvety "reserved" signs for the family pews. These she declared "mine" and didn't want to relinquish. What is that about the toddler's rules of posession? If I see it, it's mine. If I want it,it's mine....

It is a beautiful day. We just stopped at a rest stop. Yesterday it was raining most of the afternoon. We didn't go out to the cemetery but I think it wasn't actively raining during the graveside service.

Oof, doesn't seem like too many people here are having great weeks. Joe, I hope your kitty is okay.

Annie, I was wondering how Gma would handle the trip. Hopefully returning to familiar surroundings will help ease her agitation. I don't think I could handle your situation with grace, as you seem to.

Stars I have fingers crossed that you get a workable solution to your budget. You may qualify for meals on wheels, or Food Bank allotments. My dh does home deliveries to a lot of retired folks, and my sis got meals on wheels when she was recovering from her fractured leg. I know every community is different about help.

I am having a so-so day. I was nearly hit again at a four way stop by someone who ignored the stop sign. I cut my jog short because I went so late in the morning it was too hot and my feet and legs were cramping. I checked on the roses we planted yesterday and they are infested with whitefly, and caterpillars. I squished a bunch of whiteflies and flicked a bunch of caterpillars off. Ick.

I'm taking a break from weeding in my garden. It seems the nice weather has finally arrived. Yes. And the weeds are growing like, well, weeds. I am starting golf lessons tonight. Dd suggested we take them together, and as usual, she forgot to register until it was too late. So I'm on my own. I need to call Apple Support back, but I dread spending another hour on the phone. Maybe I will get a few plants in the ground, and then call.

Good evening.

I didn't have a good day in med-surg land.  But no need to rant on.  Just another day.  I'm off tomorrow and working the floor on Saturday and in charge on Sunday.

The personal banker helped get my MasterCard straightened out so I can use it. BUT, I have applied for and was accepted for a new credit card, the amount of available credit will pay off a little more than 1/2 of the Master Card balance. No interest on the new card for 21 months! A personal loan to pay the remaining balance of the MC will also be cheaper, no horrific interest amount. I will only use the old credit card for emergencies, or, like, buy something not too pricey, and then pay it off completely the next month. I don't know if I am making sense, but the basic thing is, things will be getting better and slightly easier pretty soon. I am so frazzled from having to deal with financial ins and outs, that I cannot think straight, and I am sick to death of thinking about bills and money! HATE it!

I also went scrounging through Nannie's old bedroom and found some necklace chains, which the Pawn shop gave me a little over $200 for, so I could get out of the over-draft in checking. Phew!

And then when I got home, and the CG left, I did laundry and made Nannie's bed up fresh AGAIN for the 4th day in a row. I told the CG that I will walk her through the AM routine some other time, and that will include changing the bed and putting in a wash. (Maybe Nannie needs a padded bidet so she can sit on it all day and pee freely .....and I won't have to wash everything of hers, every day! Dream on, Stars!

I got three books at the library yesterday and I am mostly through with one of them and prolly will finish it tonight. I was very strict when I went into the grocery store for just 3 items, and I did not even LOOK at the magazines!  GOOD for me!

Nannie's appt w/ Dr is tomorrow. I think the AZO and cranberry juice did the trick as she isn't having to jump up and down to the bathroom like she did. Her hallucinations seem to have receded some, also. She will be going to bed in 40 minutes and I can hardly wait!!

Good night, hope we all sleep well!
