Another fairly good day at work, hoping this trend continues. Coworker who was off will be back today, hopefully that makes things easier still, although we will be switching to a new phone system today

Thankfully the rain held off until later in the evening, and I was able to get the grocery shopping done and get to the library.  Hopefully all this rain ends the drought

Will have counseling during lunch today and will do laundry tonight

Will be cooler today,  cloudy in the upper 70s

We are at 93 degrees, and there is a possibility of thunder-storms again. Last night we had a few rumbles of thunder and a quick downpour, but nothing major, although there were "flood warnings". However, we aren't near any bodies of water, so all we had was some puddles in the yard.

Hubby said he got up around 5 AM and when he stood up by the bed, he had to grab the plastic waste-basket and his stomach emptied its contents immediately. He was trying to say it was 'just the cheese crackers I ate". Yuh, and maybe the Chinese food we had for an early supper; and THEN, later he ate a cheese and lunchmeat sandwich which he said had 'little black spots' on it. Hmmm. More likely it was that sandwich. And, of course, the vodka. But he says he feels fine today. In fact he is dozing in his recliner.

Got Nannie up at 1 PM, she ate her yogurt and had her pills, and is now sound asleep in the recliner. In a few minutes I am going back up to my room and starting the attack on the horribly overflowing shredding bin. I will have to stop part way through the process, or the shredder will overheat! 

Sounds like a fun day, eh? And there is no ballgame on tonight. ?

Hello all!

I have had trouble signing on, today.  I used the same browser I have used for years, and suddenly the cursor doesn't change from the arrow to the pointy-finger, and I can't click on anything, I don't "connect."  Anyway, at dh's suggestion, I tried another browser, which seems to have worked.  It's just not the same, tho.  ?

I went with dh to his two opthalmology appts today, and then took a nap after we got home.  BOY, that nap felt good!!  Then we practiced some music, for our Saturday program at a desert church with our friend C.  

Not much else going on.  It's in the high 90's and smoggy out.  Good to stay indoors.

I reserved boarding space for all the pets for next Monday night so they can be out of the house while we get the heat treatment that's supposed to get rid of the bugs. The hoomans will get a hotel room (or 2). Twin B will need to sleep since he will work all night Sunday. And Hubs and Gma need a place to be while the work is going on. There's a lot to do to be ready, though I got a good start before stepdaughter came to visit. 

Stars, our house isn't great for having visitors while we have Gma here, either.
